Dear _____ representative:
I am certain I have sent this to the wrong addresses and people who have nothing to do with my particular concern have received this message... oddly enough, I sympathize. I have been going through the same thing with your company. Pity that I cannot send this to everyone at their respective homes between the hours of 6 and 9 PM to get the full empathy experience.
My problem: your telemarketing fax seems to be set up to phone me,
repeatedly, during the course of an evening. It is extremely annoying. I
answer my phone to a fax beep, I hang up. It calls back in just enough time
where it could conceivably be someone else. This happens up to five times in
a given night on more than one occasion. Finally, I was fed up enough to
connect a fax to my number and receive your fax just for the opportunity to
identify my assailtant and return the favor.
How did I get all these email addresses? Well, I went to your very informative website and did what I am sure your marketing department did: I took all the information I could gather and made a mass mailing. Now you might think that I have nothing better to do with my time, but while I have many better things to do, I thought this message deserved special attention. I hope that you will assist me to make it well worth the effort.
I am hoping that this is forwarded to the proper contact person who may
address my concern. In fact, I am hoping it is forwarded to him/her several
times (approximately 40 times if my sender list is accurate). I am hopeful
that the experience might teach her/him something and that some adjustments
will be made in future ploys to attract potential client attention. Frankly,
if this is how you treat potential clients, I shudder to think what you do
once you have them.
For the appropriate individual, let me state for the record that I am formally requesting you remove me from any list you may have containing my information. I am not interested in what you are offering and if I am contacted again in any manner whatsoever, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency. Good day.
